Issues with Redux framework and several plugins during set up

 I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything but continue to get an error when I go to customize the site. Here is the code error:

 What theme version do you have? What WordPress version? Did you make any updates recently? Please add some wp credentials in a private reply. So we can check this out.

 Current theme: Specular (version 3.2.3)
 
 WordPress version 5.3 PHP version 7.3.2
 
 Only update was to purchase and add your theme and recommended plugins.
 
 I will add credentials to my account for you.

 I am also getting word that the plugin LayerSlider can not be updated:
 
 An error occurred while updating LayerSlider WP: License activation is required to receive updates.

 Hello,
 
 First of all, you do not have to open Customize to edit the theme. The general options are all located under the ‘Specular’ menu in the left sidebar.
 
 -Can you please go to file wp-config.php in the WordPress root folder, in your server. And check if the define('WP_DEBUG', false); is set to false.
 
 -Regarding the Layerslider plugin update, this is one of the bundled plugins. You can not update it on your own. Please see this article for more details:
