When I place the empty space module within a column, it initially appears, but upon publishing disappears. Is there a workaround for this?
I have also attempted to place line spaces with <br> code within text or custom headings and those disappear also.
Here I have boxed in the text with the added <br> and pointed to where I inserted the empty space modules that were then automatically deleted.

Hello,
It is simpler than that. When you are on the Builder you have to HOLD Shift + and drag n drop the paddings.
So you can put how much space you want.
Padding and margins can be added by click on the row or columns label and add them manually.
