Hi Community,
I’ve had tower for a few years before purchasing the upgrade. (Old web guy no longer does my work, picked it up and do it now myself).
So, I purchased Tower, Bakery, and a few other niceties and installed/activated them in my dev env (wpegnine has a nice way to stage upgrades).
Everything went smooth after installing everything and the site is operational.
Having said that, I have some issues to resolve apparently concerning artifacts from the previous version.
I am a developer, and don’t mind digging in – but wanted to ask if it makes more sense to just do a backup, wipe the ENTIRE folder and start over by coping the paid for template back in via scp, etc.

Hello,
Make a backup only of the WooCommerce directory and try to update the files.
If you mean to update the whole theme check out the tutorial: https://codeless.co/update-wordpress-themes-and-included-plugins/
In the next update, we will add the new WooCommerce compatibility.
Let us know.
Regards!

That worked beautifully – all I had to update were two of your overrides:
tower/woocommerce/single-product/related.php
tower/woocommerce/single-product/tabs/tabs.php
Had no idea is what that easy.
All I did, for those that don’t know how to do it, was download the latest version of WooCommerce, and then sftp those two files into above listed locations from the source woocommerce .zip file.
HTH!
