Unfortunately the ‘checkout’ button at the checkout page stopped working since updating to Woocommerce 4. All orders that are placed through Safari web browser on iPhones can’t proceed to the payment screen. When switching to Twenty Seventeen theme, it works again.Wordpress, Woocommerce and theme Specular (3.3) run on latest versions.
Does the theme need an update or a fix for this?

Hi Eldo,
The issue has not been resolved. No one with an iPhone can place an order at our webshop. They get to the checkout page, and when they click on the ‘checkout’ button to forward to the payment screen, nothing happens. We got about 10 complaints so far and we cannot place an order ourselves with an iPhone.
We’ve tested with the standard Twenty Seventeen theme of WordPress and there, the checkout button works. We’re almost sure no other plugin interferes because the other theme works like a charm.
If you could please take a look and check, we would highly appreciate it.

We now know what’s wrong: People need to tap the order button multiple times. Was that also during your test?
We’ve made a video of it, you can download it here: https://www.happycircle.nl/iphone-order.mp4This problem doesn’t happen with another theme. We’ve also disabled plugins etc, that didn’t give the solution. Switching to another theme did. But we like Specular, so hopefully we can keep using it.

I cannot make a screenshot of the blocked process/console, because it’s only on iPhone.

I have tested on my phone and it works ok
Try it again.
I can’t even debug it because I don’t see this issue on my side.

Even in incognito mode we didn’t get it to work. Bummer.
Because we missed a lot of orders, we’ve switched to another theme.Thank you for your patience and help :)
