Sidebar Navigation Menu Formatting lost after theme update

  I just updated my Specular theme from v2.6.4 to v3.3.2 and the only thing that has changed after the update is the formatting for the navigation menu for all the sidebars on my website. Before the update, each item on the sidebar navigation menu had a line separating them. Also menu item had a small arrow that pointed to the right at the end of the item. These have now gone. How do I get them back please?
