Default Page Header setting not being honored after update

  Hello,
  
  Strange behavior after updating Specular theme.
  
  We have five sites using the Specular theme (5 licenses). After updating to Specular to 3.4.1, the Header Options for Default Page Header are not being honored anymore. We have being using the Active Page Header turn off, but that header the still appears on pages. Those pages are not set to override that setting either. So Active Page header shows no matter if it is turned on or off in the settings.
  Two things to note:
  1) This issue seems to appear mainly on a sub-page.
  2) The override setting on the actual page does allow me to remove that page header by activating the override and then turning the header off. Unfortunately, doing this on every page that shows the header is impractical and the Default Page Header setting should be doing the job.
  
  Tried reloading the theme, reloading plugins (Codeless Framework and Redux), and all is up to date.
  
  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  Tried that multiple times but doesn’t make a difference.

  Also, tried using the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin but did not make a difference, nor did it give any warnings or errors.

  Kindly note the specific settings which you made for you pages will stay specific to those. As those will be overriding you main settings.

  Active Page header shows no matter if it is turned on or off in the main default header settings. I do not want it to show at all, on any page, but the main setting is ignored so it continues to display. No page has that feature turned on, so it is NOT the page that is overriding the main default settings.

  So, you want your main settings should work and your page settings should be ignored ? Right. Then simply you can turn off your page settings. If those are not working then kindly share your admin logins as a private reply so I can have a look for you.

  Of course not.
  
  I do not want the Active Header to display at all. It is turned off but it still displays.
  
  I tried including images, but this form seems to have deleted them.

  Drag, no answers here. Now what do I do with these 5 licenses for broken themes.
  
  Note: Every time we have updated the Specular theme, there are some settings that are lost, and some parts have to be rebuilt.
  
  The theme settings export does not export all settings, so when you do import those settings back in, it becomes a project to track the settings that did get updated.
  
  So doing this across 5 sites is big pain in the ……

  I can understand your situation the thing is WP 5.5 update havefew major updates which causes some code conflicta. That’s why its always better to keep backup before any theme or WP update. We are already checking it out and will be removing any unwanted code or plugins which causes such issues.

  my site with Specular 3.4.1 presents the exact same problem.
  The problem arises with the REDUX update. I had to reinstall version 3.6.18.
  
  So I currently have WordPress version 5.4.2. because otherwise Wp-Bakery doesn’t work and Redux 3.6.18 because otherwise the header of the WooCommerce products is always visible.
  
  Are they general problems you are trying to solve or are they problems related to a small number of users?

  It’s been two weeks here looking for help and solution, as you see nothing useful.

  I needed to get rid of that page header so I finally just hacked out the header code in page_header.php file (includes/view/page_header.php).
  
  Placed it in my child theme (same file path), works fine and that page header is gone.
  
  Of course I loose the Active header page function but it isn’t working anyway, we don’t need it, and it will probably have the same problem on the next update.
  
  Every update of this Specular theme has had issues.
