Fatal error: Allowed memory size

  Hi while moving widgets in the footer from 4 columns to to 3 columns I got this error, notice this is 392MB, if I increase memory to 4GB I still get the fatal error. The only way I can access the site is to FTP in, rename the theme to deactive the theme. If I try to re-install I get the same fatal error.
  
  Any advice?

  Kindly make sure your server allows that assigned memory too. If all is fine on server side and issue is there let us know ?
