Hi, I have (and I already found someone else on here with the same (solved) issue) problems with importing the Demo-Content. I get the error message:

An error occurred while fetching file from: https://remake.codeless.co/demos/default/content.xml!
Reason: http_request_failed – cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10001 milliseconds.

I already checked back the php variables with my hosting provider and he changed all the php variables as you recommended:
memory_limit = 256M
upload_max_size = 64M
post_max_size = 64M
upload_max_filesize = 64M
max_execution_time = 300
max_input_time = 1000

I guess the other user has the same Host and its an issue with that hosting.
I would also try the manual setup if you can provide me with everything needed.
