Can’t get the starter site to import data properly

  Tried different starter sites, tried importing the dummy data multiple times, no errors – just broken, messed up site showing up.
  
  Tried removing all the plugins and theme and reinstalling – still same issues.

  I decided to delete the WordPress website to try again from scratch, but I forgot to deregister the theme, so I would like assistance deregistering the theme.
