I purchased and installed the Remake template today. Fresh WordPress.org account, nothing else installed. The initial installation went well, all was fine. I decided to use the Beas layout.
The first and only thing I did was went in and edit the slider underneath the header, so there was only one item, making it static text. I did not edit the text, only removed the other two slides/items of text. After doing so, everything broke and started giving me issues.
First, the load animation was continuous and would never end. After some research, it was not a PHP Memory issue. I went in and turned off “Preloader Effect” and was able to get to the Beas homepage, only to discover that everything except the images, header, and footer had disappeared.
At that point, I decided to uninstall and reinstall everything. I uninstalled all plugins, all templates, and the theme itself. I have no other content or anything, as this WordPress site is brand new. After reinstalling everything as I did originally, and not touching anything or removing any text, it was still giving me the same issues. Decided to uninstall everything again, clear my cache/cookies/etc, and try reinstalling again. Still having the same issues.
All of the other templates (Koyna, Kiri, etc) are fine from what I can see. I was planning on using Beas with my own content, so the fact that it is black with only a few randomly dotted images, is an issue.
I would greatly appreciate any help regarding this.
-There was black color selected for background and color of text on the page was also black that’s why text was not visible. Now I removed the background color and your text is visible.Check and advise.
I appreciate you going in and giving it a look, but this does not solve the issue. The background is black with white text as default. Somewhere in the breaking process, the text must have changed to black.
If compared to the default Beas theme – https://remake.codeless.co/beas/ – the one installed on my website is very different. Is it possible this theme relies on the slider to load everything else in properly?
