Has anyone using Composer (not Elementor) successfully updated the theme without losing something? Tonight I tried to update again. This time I could not update the theme through admin. Had to upload it. Critical error again updating Codeless framework. Deleted and uploaded that through ftp. I lost some of my widgets this time. Header with widgetized area and social media in footer. I would really like to update or figure out how to stop the notice that theme update is required.
Kindly make sure to keep your website’s full backup before proceeding. Once backup is there try to update your theme through FTP and if anything goes wrong let us know ? Also, there are a lot of stuff being changed to keep theme compatible with latest WordPress updates but design wise we don’t remove any functionality.
