Disabling sticky menu from Blog page

      Hi,

      I would like to disable the sticky menu from the Blog page, but leave the logo on the menu bar so that the user can navigate back home. I have a onepager site, with a separate blog page.

      The reason I want to remove the menu bar from blog is that I am using WPML plugin for translations, and I just can’t seem to get the #sec linking right on the menu, so that it would direct from the blog menu to the home page and to the correct sec. If you have a good tip for making the linking work, then I can leave the menu to the blog page as well. But if not, I need to remove it.

      You should have the credentials already. Thank you very much! :)

      Hello,

      Sorry, I don’t understand the issue. Can you please explain it more clear so I can help you?

      If you want to hide the menu at blog page add this css code at custom css code box:

      .blog #navigation {
        display: none;
      }

      Best regards!

      Hi Ruco,

      and thanks for the quick reply. I used the custom CSS now to hide the blog.

      Let me explain the problem with menu #sec linking: When I had the same menu in the blog and in the onepager home, using #sec links in the menu items only worked in the onepager. At the blog page they did not work (very understandable). BUT when I changed the links to the following form i.e. https://calcmat.pilot3.sofokus.com/#sec5, something strange happened. The links worked OK when I first reloaded the onepager home. When using them from the blog page, they directed me back to the onepager to the correct sec. However, once I reloaded the onepager home or scrolled back up, the linking ceased to function after that. In a nutshell, first it worked and a while after it did not. And of course I did not change anything in the backend between.

      So, now I just hide the menu from the blog page and go back to simple #sec linking in the onepager menu. That seems to work OK.

      Thanks anyway!

      Hi Ruco,

      one more question:

      I need the menu hidden from all the blog posts as well (now it’s visible on blog posts and the linking does not work).

      What custom CSS to use?

      thank you!

      Hello,

      Sorry for the late reply.
      I see the navigation does not display in single blog post (screenshot) Did you manage to do it? Let us know if you need further help.

      Best regards!
