Hi again,
I have just transferred the website from a development site to a live site:
https://dev.activeinlearning.com/
https://www.activeinlearning.com/
Something strange is happening. When I am on the development site, the title (h tag) font is Alegreya and the body font is Nunito Sans, from Google Fonts.
When I go to the live site, the fonts on the homepage are missing. We seem to just have something default, like Times New Roman, all over. However:
– within Appearance > Customise, all fonts are appearing perfectly, just not on the front end/live site
– The homepage is the only page developed with the codeless page builder. The rest are using elementor. The fonts on all other pages are perfect.
– The fonts set through the theme (in Appearance > Customiser and when editing the Home page with the codeless page builder) are still defined correctly. They still say Alegreya and Nunito Sans.
Is there a reason why this might be happening, where all the fonts are defined correctly but on the homepage, they just aren’t displaying, and we have a default one instead? Is there anything I can try, to fix it?
Thanks.
Hi,
Please remove the font folder from the wp-content folder by using “Wp File manager” or FTP or by using the cPanel. After that refresh your site and then check again.
Thanks,
Thanks very much for the advice. Thanks again for all your help. I’ll leave a review for the theme.
