I disabled the Codeless Framework plugin and the site works again but of course it doesn’t look right without the Codeless Plugin. I’m running the latest version of Specular v4.2 (and WordPress v5.8.1) but WP Bakery Page Builder is out of date (currently v6.2). Do I need to update somehow (I cannot see a way to update) to v6.7 to fix my issue??
Specular v4.2.0. It’s ok to make changes to my development site by logging in using the credentials I sent earlier. Although, when I come to update my main live site I would need to know how to fix the issue when it comes up.
Of course only the development version of my website is to be updated / modified so that I can be sure the main site remains as it is while any problems like the one we found are resolved. The development site can be found when you SFTP in at:
Not sure which plugin you mean but our development website now looks great. Could you please let me know what I need to do to get the main live site working the same as the development site?
I worked on the site which you provided me login details and folder above. You can simply copy all your files from development to live site.
Or you can provide me logins of your live site too so I can make that work too. Though it is double work for me but I will do for you no issue at all :) after all we are here to keep you moving.
Actually you are using an older version of the theme on. Make sure you update your theme then update and activate all required plugins and all will work just fine.
Yes, that’s what I did with the development site to test all the updates before going live and then got the problem as mentioned earlier. How did you fix the problem on the development site?
Just updated the theme and WordPress and have the same issue that I saw with the development website. I couldn’t update WP Bakery Page Builder and LayerSlider WP.
For the layer slider and any other premium slider, just download latest package from theme-forest and under included plugins folder you will get those latest plugins. Just update those with old ones and that’s it.
I was just here to put your website live as it was a live site of yours and I am done on it.

How do I download the latest package for the Layer Slider and WP Bakery? I don’t think I can download these unless I have paid for them?

No, during update nothing changes in the database. I have updated the fixed plugin for you which is codeless framework plugin.
Anything else is nothing related to the update of the plugin.
No, you will not pay anything to get latest theme version. Just go to your theme forest account and under downloads page you will see specular theme listed as you have purchased that theme. Just download full package from there and that’s it.
Nothing fancy at all.

For the plugin updates do you mean to extract the relevant folder and files for LayerSlider and WP Bakery from the main Specular installable file and then upload them to the corresponding live folder and overwrite via FTP?
