Hi, I’ve bought specular theme today and received activation code. I have my website available online already and I want to make newer version (including new theme, PHP version and wordpress version). I was wondering if I can activate product locally and then push it via ftp (same with DB dump) and keep activated product or have to stop site for a day or two, modify everything and then publish it again. Does specular have anything like test version? Maybe when the license is being activated for the second time it stops working on previous devices?

You should have to do two things
1) Activate your product locally then push it via FTP
2) Before pushing the local site online keep your site backup. It’s recommended to keep a backup of your site because it helps to restore your site to the previous version if something bad happens with your site while updating WordPress/theme/core plugins etc.
The key benefit of the above two steps is your site will always be online and updated.
