Hi I tried to register softwud.com.au after re-installing the theme but I get the error “Code is already registered for other domain”. Could you please deregister the domain. Thanks.
Thanks, it worked. I am now able to get to installing the starter site Business 4 which I have now done but even though the install finished successfully the site is missing:
1. The social media icons above the header,
2. The “Our Locations”, “Telephone Number”, and “Email Address” in the header
3. The slider
Instead of the slider it appears to be a shortcode “[rev_slider home]”.
Also on the Import / Export (Dummy Data) admin page under the header “Demo Data”
it is blank. I remember that the first time I installed the theme on my other domain softwud.com there was a drop down to select which dummy data to import.
Can you please tell me how do I fix this so the site will look like the starter site. Thanks.
The Slider Revolution plugin doesn’t appear to have been installed. Isn’t this a plugin that comes with the theme ?! I didn’t change any of the plugin settings when I installed the theme.
The link is your live preview of the theme with the business 4 starter site and demo data installed out of the box.
The very first time (2 – 3 years ago) I installed your theme it worked first time and I got a site that looks exactly like the live preview link.
There is clearly something wrong with the latest installable files you provide, since I tried to install the same them installable file on a VM on my computer and I get the same half baked version of your theme.
I can import the starter site but when I try to import the demo data (which contains half of the content that is missing) the drop down where a user can select the type of demo data to import is missing.
I can see that you have fixed some things by manually entering the missing content because the underlying HTML generated is clearly different, a case in point is the “Welcome to Specular – Corporate & Business Demo” text at the top. Unfortunately this doesn’t fix the problem because by entering the text into a text widget the text is wrapped with <p> and tags and the CSS for these tags pushes the rest of the layout out of alignment.
These sort if fixes leave me open to the whole theme breaking again when a theme update is installed in the future.
I expected that all I would have to do is install the theme and I would have a site that looks and functions correctly like the link above.
Could you please just reinstall the theme and data so that this is the case.

I tried installing the business 4 starter site with the woocommerce plugin selected as well and I get the message “Something went wrong while installing the necessary plugins.
