I want to make a custom sidebar on only a few pages, and the rest of the pages get the same sidebar.
So I made a custom sidebar for a specific page, but it doesn’t show up. It shows the “regular” sidebar for all pages. So customizing a sidebar for one or two pages doesn’t seem to work.
I read your forum and it seems to me that if I want a custom sidebar on a specific page, I have to make separate custom sidebars for each of the pages, even though most of them have the same sidebar. That’s 50 sidebars, so that couldn’t be true.
I see no possibility to assign a specific sidebar when I am constructing the page itself.
Sorry, its not possible to assign the same custom sidebar to some page. You must add a sidebar per page. We will take this suggestion into consideration for the next theme updates.
Hi, yes, I would definitely resolve this. Either by assigning a sidebar from the page itself, or assigning the same custom side bar to multiple pages. Otherwise the whole idea of custom sidebars is pretty useless.
