Menu ID links and Menu as One Page setting

  My main menu is setup with an “About Us” page at “/about-us” and sub-menu items are custom links to “/about-us/#team” and “/about-us/#locations”. This works great until I enable “Use menu as one page menu” option on the About Us page!
  
  If I have “Use menu as one page menu” enabled and I am on another page and click “/about-us/#team” it works fine. But if user first goes to the “About Us” page at “/about-us”, then the custom links /about-us/#team” and “/about-us/#locations” do not work and the user is not moved around the page.

  You should give the full link to the sections in menu.
  Right: https://lavish-star.flywheelsites.com/about-us/#locations
  Wrong: #locations

  My links are complete links.
  
  Let me better describe how to recreate the problem.
  
  (1) Go to https://lavish-star.flywheelsites.com/about-us
  
  (2) Now the Location and Team sub-menu links don’t work
  
  However
  
  (1) Go to https://lavish-star.flywheelsites.com
  
  (2) Through the menu, navigate directly to About Us -> Locations
  
  (3) Now the Locations and Team sub-menu links DO work!
  
  I am not sure why going to the base page first prevents the ID tag links from working.

  Please do not assign https://lavish-star.flywheelsites.com/about-us page as One page, if you will have other external link in the menu.

  My menu structure is simply:
  
  About Us: https://lavish-star.flywheelsites.com/about-us
  
  Locations: https://lavish-star.flywheelsites.com/about-us/#locations
  
  Team: https://lavish-star.flywheelsites.com/about-us/#team
  
  There are no external links, but if I navigate to “About-Us” the “Location” and “Team” links stop working. Am I using this wrong? It appears to be a bug in the One-page feature.
  
  Is there a code snippet I could apply to fix this?

  Hello,
  
  By external link i mean the other pages that are not sections of the one-page. If you must use other links to pages like: https://lavish-star.flywheelsites.com/news/ (directs to a new independent page, not section id of “About Us” page), then you should not set up “About Us” page as One page.
  This is not a bug. One page feature is used for sites that use only one page as the entire site. You have set up a normal site.
