I am writing to report a critical issue with my WordPress website, which is utilizing the Picante theme, inclusive the WPBakery Page Builder and Slider Revolution plugins. My website recently suffered a security breach due to known vulnerabilities in these plugins.
Here are the details of my setup:
Wordpress Version 6.3.1
Picante Theme Version: 2.6
WPBakery Page Builder Version: 6.10.0
Slider Revolution Version: 6.6.8
It has come to my attention that WPBakery Page Builder is vulnerable up to version 6.13.0 (CVE-2023-31213), and Slider Revolution is vulnerable up to version 6.6.12 (CVE-2023-2359). Unfortunately, my website was compromised as a result of these vulnerabilities, and I had to restore it from a backup. To prevent further exploitation, I have temporarily disabled both plugins.
However, this has left my website in an incomplete and non-functional state.
Please provide the secure versions of these plugins as soon as possible so that I can restore full functionality to my website.
