I am going to copy my production site to a staging site. To comply with the license policy I will purchase a new license for the staging site.
During my work I am going to copy files and DB from one site to another. How can I avoid both sites using the same license? Is there a license file that should be unique to each site and I should not copy from one site to another?
Maybe after I copy the files and DB from the staging to the primary site, I will register again the main site (using the old key purchased few years ago)?
Is this needed? If I do so, can it cause problem and site might go down?
