We’ve had this issue before but it was resolved by rolling back to the previous version of Elementor and Elementor Pro. Now, out of nowhere, the issues has returned.
The issue is with Specular because we’ve temporarily switched the theme over to Twenty Twenty One and Elementor is working fine. We’ve done the following so far:
– deactivate WP rocket
– update all plugins
– update Specular to 4.2.5What else can we try?

Has there been a permanent fix for the Elementor issues on the new version 4.2.5? Thanks

Is there any estimate of when it will be ready? Our client is asking us since it keeps causing a repeated issue with the rolled back version of Elementor. We saw that there was a new release of your theme but it didn’t address the Elementor issue.

Hi there, our client is reporting that yet again Elementor is not working on their site again. We have rolled back Elementor twice now to fix this but it keeps having issues a week or two later still after roll back. This issue has been ongoing long enough and we need a resolution to fix this instead of just rolling Elementor back to even older versions. Please advise.

Please share you are facing – perhaps you can share screen shot.
Thanks,

I thought you should be able to see this as we have provided the login of the staging site – https://emergencyequipment.flywheelstaging.com
It seems that the theme has been changed to the parent theme.
See attached screen recording of how the Elementor widgets are just loading and not able to add new widgets or edit existing ones.
https://emergencyequipment.us/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screen-Recording-2022-10-18-at-5.10.09-am.movWe’re hoping the next updates will fix this issue.
Please let us know if there’s anything else not clear.

I can see that widgets can be added and edited but Elementor is reverted back to 3.5.6 and Elementor Pro deactivated.
We’re hoping there’s a fix on the theme update where we can use the latest version of Elementor and Elementor Pro.

I’m confused by this reply. We have brought up this conflict issue since 2.5 months ago and we have been continually told that it was in the works for the next update. You can read through the replies above to see this. Are you saying now that it is NOT in the works to be updated and all we can do is suggest it as a change for the future? Please advise…

Hi, Yes but you can see in the above replies we were told that it was on the list for the development team to work on next. We were told up to 2.5 months ago when we asked when the theme would be updated to be compatible with the latest Elementor, you responded: Yes, Sure!
In next update we will do it.So you have given us the impression that the issue is known and on the list of fixes for the latest update to address.
Also, I didn’t feel this was an issue for just us as one user since Elementor is listed as a compatible editor, so it should be something that is always working with the theme on the latest version, which it is not.

Hi, I didn’t receive a reply to my latest comments. Is there any new news?
