Hi,
For a client i’ve made a website using this theme. So far so good, now i’m checking everything behind the scenes, and would like to optimize it more for SEO.
The Flexslider used on the homepage, does not use the alt tags i’ve given the images in the media library. Where can I insert that code? I can’t seem to find the file that contains the structure for the list that is used to build the slider. It does inserts the “title” of the image in the code and that’s basically the same input I would like to use for the alt tag.
Secondly is the height of the slider. Am I able to adjust it? Right now it’s quite big, my client would like to have it less height so the rest of the site is visible as well.
Many thanks.
Regards,
Mirna

Hello,
Please refer to this topic regarding the alt tags in images:
https://support.codeless.co/?topic=image-alt-tags-missing-on-home-pageAdd this code into your custom css box to change the slider height:
.flexslider { height: 400px !important;} li.slide_element { height: 400px !important;}
Change the value to your wish.
Let us know if you need help.
Best regards!

Thank you,
Regarding the topic, this part seems what I need (as i’m not using blog or portfolio), but the link shows an empty code file:
1-Media element:
Go to file vc_templates/media.php and replace the code with the one in this link:

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
The function used to get the alt from images is deprecated in later versions of wordpress.I’ll report this to our developers – I’m sure they’re interested in implementing this feature in upcoming updates.
For now l think that this modification is beyond the scope of this support forum.Best regards!
