Hi,
My friend I can see blog images just fine, can you please be specific what issue do you have ? It will be even better if you can share some screenshot of the issue so I can go directly there.
And yes I am able to see your website now, thanks for the getting in.
Thank You

Hi Akram.
The height is to small. Here is a sample.The same is on the frontpage. the news are also cropped in the height.
would be great if the height is 100% or in the dimension of the original image (1200 x 800 px).Best regards and thank you for your fast reply.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply. Well, I have seen through and there is no issue. Just note if the container size is smaller like in your case blog size is 875px or around so image will scale accordingly. Can’t show exact 1200px large image there as images are cropped as per the size of the container. So, as per its parent image is taking exact and fine size.
Same is true for the blog images on home page. In blog section we crop image to 460px to get it right in the grid and showing exact fine image which its doing. Setting custom height will make image pixelate which we don’t recommend.
Thank You

Hi Akram
Yes, i understand, that the container is smaller. The Wide is also ok, but the images are cropped. I need to adjust the height of all the blogpost images. The height sould be 100%.You have right a post to this problem before, but ive get a error is i insert this code function.php as you can see. the login wasnt possible after that.
How can i adjust the height of all these kinds of blog images?
Best regards.

Hi,
If you want to add your custom height then you can simply add your own CSS and it will work. Just target your desired image and add your own CSS as per your own needs. If you don’t know how to right CSS let me know ?
Thank You

Hi,
Here is the code for the home page blog images:
.home .latest_blog img{ height: 100%; }
Detail page image is already taking 100% height but if you want some number like 360px then code is:
.single .media img{ height: 360px;}
So, I have provided you code now you can play with your own changes like if you want to set to 380px in detail page just change 360px to 380px etc …
Thank You
-
sorry, but this code doesn’t works. the image isnt proportional scaled… I need to display the image bigger in the right proportions and all 3 areas.
Thank you

Hi,
My friend then you have to edit or extend your theme files to set your desired sizes in the code. If you know how to do that you can do otherwise you can hire some freelancer to get this done for you.
Thank You
-
Hi Akram. Sorry this is just a joke. It works with the code from the support till the update. And now, i have to renew the support, to write more than a week with you to get the answer, that i have to hire a freelancer?? Sorry… This is ridiculous.
Please. Tell me, my im not able to log in, after i copy the various images sizes section to my function.php file in my child theme. this creates a massive error with the page.
Time before, its working like this, so i was able to adjust the size.
This is the code. but its not working with it.
<?php
Function child_enqueue_scripts() {
wp_register_style( ‘childtheme_style’, get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . ‘/style.css’ );
wp_enqueue_style( ‘childtheme_style’ );
}add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘child_enqueue_scripts’);
/* ——————– Add Various Image Sizes ———————— */
function codeless_images_sizes(){
add_image_size( ‘port3’, 600, 600, true );
add_image_size( ‘port3_grayscale’, 627, 470, true );
add_image_size( ‘port2’, 460, 275, true );
add_image_size( ‘port2_grayscale’, 940, 470, true );
add_image_size( ‘port4’, 600, 600, true );add_image_size( ‘blog’, 825, 340, true );
add_image_size( ‘alternate_blog’, 440, 195, true );
add_image_size( ‘alternate_blog_side’, 355, 235, true );
add_image_size( ‘blog_grid’, 350, 350, true );add_image_size( ‘staff’, 400, 270, true );
add_image_size( ‘staff_full’, 500, 340, true );}
/* ——————– End Add Various Image Sizes ——————— */
?>
best regards.

Hi,
My friend I have gone beyond to make sure you get it done. But if you still need to make changes that’s beyond the scope of support and still we are doing it for you to make sure you get it right and working for you.
The code you posted above is working one just make sure you download latest version of theme and child theme and use those along with this code properly. If you getting error it means you are doing some thing wrong and that’s why I asked to choose some freelancer if you can’t play with code.
We are still there to assist and never ever asked to not get in touch. We are just away until you post a query as soon your query is there we are there for you.
Thank You

ok. so i will find another way or theme. i spend hours for nothing. i will also ask for refund on theme forest. this was far away from helpfull sorry. the child and theme is uptodate and still not able to login in.

Hi,
My friend make sure you are not making any mistake, other wise your website is working just fine. As far as you want to set your own image sizes I can provide you guide from WordPress official codex https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/add_image_size/ so this can assist you how to do that ?
Thank you
-
Hi. i dont get it. i ask 2 different people to solve it and they are also unable. the images are always not on scale. why is it not possible to copy this code to the function.php file??
add_image_size( ‘blog’, 825, 619, true );
Normally this should work and replace the current size right? i dont understand, why im unable to login after that.
i dont want new sizes, i just want to change the sizes of the current once.
Thank you.
-
Hi,
Here is the code add_image_size( ‘custom-size’, 220, 180, true ); mow make sure you use it with your own code like you change your ‘custom-size’ to your own named and same way your own widths and heights.
You have to call it in some sort of hook like ‘init’ hook.
Here your full code now:
add_action( "init" "custom_image_size"); function custom_image_size(){ add_image_size( "custom-size", 825, 619, true ); }
I have done a lot for you and its beyond the scope of support but still we are there to for you so you get it done.
Thank You
