Hi
I have an issue where the Shop is not displaying products in Internet Explorer. Works on all other browsers?
I have disabled all plugins to make sure it is not a conflict and this made no diference.
I activated a standard theme (Twenty Seventeen) and this displays the products in the shop OK on IE. I have tried this on various versions of IE and none work. Microsoft Edge is OK though.
I am using V1.5 of June and V1.01 of June Child theme.
Can you help?
Thanks

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
The quantity is not being shown because you have set up the products to be sold individually (screenshot). This options removes automatically the quantity feature. I have unchecked it for this product: https://avantgarderetail.co.uk/shop/for-home/kitchen-entertaining/snack-boxes/
You can see here the quantity showing ok.Let us know.
Best regards!
-
Thanks.
The issue is that it does not show the correct quantity of the product variations. So if I have a T-shirt that is available in red, g=blue and white. It show the total stock quantity of the combined variables not 3 red, 7 blue and 10 white? When the customer picks the variable it should show the stock quantity of that variable?
Finally, on variable products it is showing the price range from High to Low. How can I change this to show from Low to High or even better a From: price so if the price range is £3.00 to £7.00 it shows “From : £3.00”?
Many thanks

Hello,
To verify that everything is fine i created a product and i followed the steps below:
I added a new attribute called Color.
Then on Configure Terms i added Red and Black as colors for that attribute.
Then i created a new product called shirt. When you scroll down to the Product Data section select Variable Product and on Attributes tab i added color attribute and checked “Visible on the product page” and “Used for variations”. Then i selected all terms so red and black and click the button save.
See screenshot: https://ibb.co/eZjMCyThen on the tab Variations select create variations from all attributes and it will appear Red and Black. See screenshot: https://ibb.co/jWkiQJ
There you can add an image for each product color set the quantity and price.
Here you should check Manage Stock and then set the quantity for each product. Lets say 5 for red shirts.
See screenshot: https://ibb.co/gRzckJYou can delete the product. I created it so you can see what steps i took to do it.
Let us know.
Best regards! -
Thanks Medrit
Not sure what you are demonstrating here as we know how to create a variable product. Our issue is the stock reporting on the product page is not correct. If we look at the shirt product you just created. You have 5 black and 7 red in stock. But the product page shows out of stock? See link
https://avantgarderetail.co.uk/shop/kids-stuff/shirt/What we want is for the stock to be 12 until a variable is selected and it then to show the stock available for that variable. So 5 for Black or 7 for Red?
You will also notice I have made the shirts different prices. How can we change the price from showing £15-£20 to £15 – £20?
Hope that all make sense?
Cheers

Hello,
That happened because i forgot to set stock quantity on inventory. See screenshot: https://ibb.co/kskdsy
You mean you want spaces between the prices?
Best regards!
-
Thanks Medrit. Ah, no problem.
However, it still does not show any stock quantities?
Yes please so £15.00[space]-[space]£20.00
This would be everywhere the price range appears on the site.
My preference is to have From[space]:[space]£15.00 but it would be good to know how to do both.
Cheers

Hi
Can I have an urgent update on this please? I have a very unhappy customer.
This is a major issue if your theme does not work with ie or edge.
Thanks

Hello
Can I have an urgent update on this please?
I have also noted that if you have a variable product without a default choice. The system lets you add it to the basket without prompting for a choice. This should not happen.
Also the credit card info box is not contained within the frame. Please see attached screenshot. Actually, how do I upload a screenshot?
Can you look into this urgently too please?
Many thanks

Hello,
Theme has no issues with Edge browser. Only the old IE browsers are the ones we are updating theme for. The rest is tested and working.
-I just made a test and indeed you can not add to cart any variable product if there is no option selected first. See screenshot: https://postimg.cc/image/lsfz5gpjr/Please use the same online sharing page (https://postimg.cc) to send us screenshots of the issues. So we can understand better.
Best regards!

Hi,
Sorry, Edge is OK but all versions of ie are affected. We have just tested again on the latest ie and it is now showing.
Please try the product on our site. It definitely allows you to chose and then progress through the basket process without choosing any option.
https://avantgarderetail.co.uk/?s=pony+called+steve&post_type=product
Please purchase by clicking add to cart and then leave the option unchosen and just click on proceed to checkout. Could this be linked to the stock not showing correctly for variable products? I still need an answer on that also.
Here is link to screenshot showing the CC fields running over border. https://postimg.cc/image/qe81ivj63/
Thanks

This link shows 3 variable products in the basket at checkout. None have any variables chosen and there have been no alerts.

Hello,
Can you please try this for me: deactivate all other plugins you have but the included in theme and of course woocomemrce.
Clean cache and try again. If the situation persists, we will login and check it directly.
Let us know.Best regards!

We have tried this but it is still possible to add the variable product without choosing a variable and click on the basket and proceed to checkout?
Can I also have an update on making the price range from : £value. Need this urgently please.
Many thanks

Hello,
So i made a test in one of the products, first by trying to add it to the cart without selecting first any of the options. It doe snot let you add the product to cart. See screenshot: https://postimg.cc/image/elpb6e9o7/
Then i made a test by trying to add the same product to the cart, but this time from the shop page directly. Here is where i experienced the issue you are referring to. Please go to file includes/codeless_functions_woocommerce.php in parent theme and find this block:
if( $product->get_type() == 'variable' ) $args = array( 'class' => implode( ' ', array_filter( array( 'button', 'product_type_' . $product->get_type(), $product->is_purchasable() && $product->is_in_stock() ? 'add_to_cart_button' : '', 'ajax_add_to_cart_variable', $more_classes ) ) ) ); woocommerce_template_loop_add_to_cart( $args );
Replace with this:
if( $product->get_type() == 'variable' ) $args = array( 'class' => implode( ' ', array_filter( array( 'button', 'product_type_' . $product->get_type(), $product->is_purchasable() && $product->is_in_stock() ? 'add_to_cart_button' : '', '', $more_classes ) ) ) ); woocommerce_template_loop_add_to_cart( $args );
This will take the buyer from the variable product in shop page, to it’s profile so that the user can select one of the combinations.
Let us know.
Best regards!

Hi Mihalia
I have done this and I can still add variable products without a variable chosen to basket and then checkout?
Thanks

Hi Mihalia
Just tried it again and that is working properly now. Many thanks.
Still need answers on the following:
1. Stock displaying incorrectly for variable products
2. Credit Card Fields displaying out-with container box.
3. Display variable pricing as “From : £lowest price”
Can you get these resolved for me?
Many thanks

Hello
Did you do anything with this Mihaila?
We now have another issue. When you checkout of the cart it returns the customer to the cart and does not clear the cart?
This site is due to launch this week and this is now becoming urgent. Why can’t you just address all the issues please?
Thanks

Hello,
Please try to keep your calm. No one is ignoring you!
The theme developer is notified and is working on it as previously mentioned. We’ll keep you notified for the changes. Can you give some more details on:
-when did shop stopped working? This is a tested theme and there is no issue with the cart/shop in no other installations.-Do you have added any script or changed anything in server side during the time of theme configuration?
-Can you please install theme from scratch, in a test domain? Upload a newly downloaded version so we are sure no changes are made to it’s scripts from other parties (such as plugins).
Install ONLY theme included plugins!Best regards!

Mihaila
Your comments are not helpful! Look back at how many times I have had to chase you and you have apologised each time. This is a commercial site that can’t wait weeks for support.
Have you actually read the full thread? What particular issue is with the developer? We have the following issue contained in this thread.
1. Stock displaying incorrectly for variable products – doesn’t work on fresh install. Reported over 3 weeks ago?
2. Credit Card Fields displaying out-with container box – same on fresh install. Reported over 3 weeks ago?
3. Display variable pricing as “From : £lowest price” – same on fresh install. Requested over 3 weeks ago?
4. Issues with shopping cart reported over 3 weeks ago.
Are all of these with your developer?
Regards
Euan

Hi Mihaila
Please be good enough to respond to my queries above.
Thanks

Hello,
Sorry for the delay:
1. Stock displaying incorrectly for variable products – doesn’t work on fresh install. Reported over 3 weeks ago? – Fixed on last update (will be online today)
2. Credit Card Fields displaying out-with container box – same on fresh install. Reported over 3 weeks ago? – Checked in your website everything is ok!
3. Display variable pricing as “From : £lowest price” – same on fresh install. Requested over 3 weeks ago? – Just changed the order by default from lowest to largest. To create the needed text please add this on functions.php:
add_filter( 'woocommerce_variable_sale_price_html', 'get_min_variation_price_format', 10, 2 ); add_filter( 'woocommerce_variable_price_html', 'get_min_variation_price_format', 10, 2 ); function get_min_variation_price_format( $price, $product ) { $min_variation_price = $product->get_variation_regular_price( 'min'); return '<span class="prefix-from">' . esc_html__( 'From', 'june' ) . ": </span>" . wc_price($min_variation_price); }
4. Issues with shopping cart reported over 3 weeks ago. – Checked on your site, works fine
-
Many thanks Ludjon
I note your comments on 1 to 3. When I add the code to Functions.PHP it works and is nearly perfect but we are looking for a space between the colon : and the £Price. At the moment it looks like From:£5.99 and we would like From: £5.99.
Can we do this please?
Kind regards
Euan

Also add this css line so you don’t need to wait for update:
.single_variation_wrap .woocommerce-variation-availability{ display:block !important; }
Thanks
