If i Use Main Theme and from theme option > blog config > blog style
you can select
normal, alternative, creative, masonary, full screen innovative then blog page is coming perfectly.About Widgets: You can edit widget from wp-admin > appearance > widgets > and there is plenty of widget area available, you can drag and drop what ever you want.
Yes, VC + Tower is compatible with latest wp.
however i always recommend before making any changes, take a backup and put in safe place then do updation.Thanks,

I’m having 2 issues with the Tower theme I purchased for 2 websites.1) Issues with the mobile version of the navigation menu of a website, when I scan it with the Google test optimization mobile https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?hl=it
In the Google Search Console has appeared 2 errors: – Text too small to read – Selectable elements too close together
Please help me to fix it.2) On another website, when I install the new release of Tower template it appears this error.

You can change their settings from
wp-admin > Portfolio Items > Edit Portfolio Item > Single Portfolio Page Options > Page Style > Use this item as text block in masonry element style (On / Off)Or let me do it for you,
