Hello – hopefully this is a simple solution/setting I just haven’t found. I’m starting a blog on my existing website, and I’d love to use the Fullscreen Innovative Single Post option for single blog posts. However, I can’t get the main image (what shows before you scroll down) to look good – every image I select is highly zoomed in and pixilated. Are there separate specs for images to use for this purpose? Is there a setting I need to change somewhere that is messing with the image?

I haven’t posted the blog yet, because I would like to get this fixed first – but you can see the draft in my WP dash. I’ve also got a screenshot here: https://www.lavenderconnection.com/wp-admin/upload.php?item=4724

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I ‘ve got a problem. When I edit pages, f.e. “Product”, where I would like to place portfolio, I can’t see “Portfolio options” nor “Page options”.

You can see it below, on the right, where should be page options, there is only grey background, the same with portfolio options below wordpress page editor.

The same is on blog posts – when I edit them, I can’t see any “Post options”, there is only grey box. The same with “Blog post format” – no options, only grey box.

    PHP: 7.0.11

    WP version: 4.7.2

    Hello,

The new update does not cause that. It is tested multiple times and as you can see in the change log (https://themeforest.net/item/specular-responsive-multipurpose-business-theme/9412083?s_rank=2) there isn’t any file that can cause that.
However, this is a more of a wordpress installation issue. The wp-admin folder is a wordpress folder and it’s not affected from themes.

You may have some corrupted files or a corrupted database table causing it. I suggest you first go to your wp-content/plugins and rename all existing plugins. Some times this is caused due to a conflicting plugin. By renaming them you automatically disable them.
If the issue persists, then update wordpress files, make sure you do have all necessary access rights on it. Then check your database. perform a database table optimization. Contact your host regarding it.

Please read these useful articles regarding this type of issue:

    Reasons Why I Can’t Access wp-admin Page

Let us know how it will go.

    Best regards!

“Post Masonry Grid” or “Post Grid” in Visual Builder both show nothing. Data source is st to “Post”, and there are no filters set. I have several posts, and other post display components — “Full Blog”, for example — show them correctly.

If I check JS console, I can see a POST made to wp-admin/admin-ajax.php with action set to <code class=”focusRow subFocusRow “>vc_get_vc_grid_data, which, I assume, is the that component trying to load the articles. That call returns “0”.<code class=”focusRow subFocusRow “>

    Hi,

Since upgrading to Specular version 1.6 visual composer is hanging on me.

I’ve tried deactivating all my other plugins in case something was interfering, to no avail.

I’ve also tried updating the VC following the article here: https://support.codeless.co/knowledge-base/visual-composer-update/

I get a message to say there is a new version available: “There is a new version of WPBakery Visual Composer available. View version 4.11.2 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin. To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit settings to activate your Visual Composer. Got Visual Composer in theme?”

I am trying to launch a new webpage and I’ve managed to complete simple pages like blog + contacts without the visual composer but doing my homepage without this is impossible(with my skills!) so I really need to get this working again.

    Thank you!!!

    Marie

    Hi Codeless,

I’m helping out with the administration of this site: http://www.scottpoynton.com. We’ve had two long-running issues that we cannot figure out how to solve and am hoping you can help:

    1. The Twitter widget will not update automatically. I can get it to pull the latest tweets if I go into widgets and click “save changes” but then it stops updating. No idea what’s happening here but it is an issue.
    2. The front page has this slider on it that pulls the featured image of whatever the latest blog post is, which looks really ugly. Previous directions on the support forums say to delete the slider from the page options — but as we have a dynamic front page that displays the blogs there is no page options to play with, at least that I can find.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Kaitlin

I have just installed Tower and imported the demo content. I set the homepage to use the full width portfolio. Each time I try to set the slider to use the codeless slider, then select the portfolio example, I get the following errors. This error also appears below the Parent dropdown in the right column.
