Please install the child theme included in Specular package.
It must have the name: ‘specular-child’ and the file style.css under specular child must have the structure:

/*
 Theme Name:     Specular Child
 Theme URI:      https://codeless.co
 Description:    Specular Child Theme
 Author:         Codeless
 Author URI:     https://www.codeless.co
 Template:       specular
 Version:        1.0.0
*/

@import url("../specular/style.css");

Also you must have the theme ‘specular’ at the Themes folder on your wp installation.

Please be sure you have installed the latest theme version.

It have include Visual Composer version 4.4.4.

Please do not update the visual composer The latest plugin versions will be included in theme on the next theme updates (when a new version of Visual Composer will be available).
If you want to update yourself the VC, then you must buy it.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please edit the file style.css in Editor.
find the line:

.header_8 nav .menu > li > ul.sub-menu, .header_8 nav .menu > li > ul.sub-menu ul{top:104%;left:0 !important;}

and replace with:

.header_8 nav .menu > li > ul.sub-menu, .header_8 nav .menu > li > ul.sub-menu ul{top:104%;}
