You can change the type of the header into Specular > Header Options > Header Style. Select Simple Style.
If you mean to remove the extra navigation hamburger menu in the right: Specular > Layout > Extra Side Navigation > Switch it Off

You don’t even need to us a slider. You can do that with row fullwidth with a background. In center of the row you can add a Title heading with the text you want without any effect.

No, isn’t possible because gallery and portfolio are two different types of elements.

I don’t really know what cause this issue. I have just tested on my version locally and there is no such issue. Please try to keep plugins update.
P.S In order to receive further support renew your expired support license.
If you haven’t make any change on the core files will be no problem with update. You can make the update manually too.
Go to wp-content/themes/folie and replace this folder with the latest we have launched.
