You don’t need to purchase the plugin. At the moment you have to work with the Wp Bakery Plugin version that theme offers and is compatible. When the new update of Folie will be launched you can also update free the Visual Composer that is included with the theme for free.

We are sorry but we have to wait the update of the plugin to resolve this issue.
You can disable this plugin while its update: WooCommerce Variation Swatches Plugin. The variations and attributes can work without it. The only different thing is the product color variation that will be showed with a selector instead of color circles.
The memory and other variables are only a recommendation. So if you can install the dummy data and theme works ok you dont have to worry about highlights in the System Status.
I think that one of your installed plugins create this issue. Please can you disable the third party plugins except the one that comes with the theme. So we can check which of them conflict with theme Customizer.
