Meanwhile, i have been working to fix some issues with which i have been dealing. I already fix the issue with the submenu not being displayed on the sidebar and other problem created by a plugin.

I think that everything is ok now.

A summary of problems that i found at the moment:

– Lorem Ipsum text on Service Smal Icon shortcode (that text doesn’t exists on the old version of the theme and even editing the shortcode, i’m not able to delete it)

– Pages with sidebar don’t show the submenu (that was working on the old version)

To try to avoid people to see the text that i don´t want to have and can´t be deleted, i put some css to hide that div:

.services_small .content div {display: none;}

This aren’t a final solution, but at the moment, thats what i can do to hide this text.
Any ideal solution for the problem?

Sorry, but i can not send you the ftp credentials to the server for security reasons imposed by the IT department team. I hope you understand.

I already had created a pt.po file on the Lang folder of the theme, and i can see that string translated on wordpress, but on the site it always shows in english. Translate directly the  .php files was a temporary solution for me, but i need a definitive pratical and usable solution for the client.

For the client is more easy and pratical to use wordpress instead of translate the .po file, but big problems occur when i activate the WPML plugin.

That issue with the header exists since i install the theme, before i have installed any of the third party plugins.

After i removed the WPML, i had to delete all files on the uploads folder because all files are showing duplicated on wordpress but with the same URL, and in the uploads folder only exists one file of each one. Some url’s changed, permalinks changed to a path with no sense, a new 2014 folder was created on uploads and many images were moved to it, etc, etc…

Sincerely, i don’t know what more can i do to find and solve the problem that happen when i install and activate the WPML on the theme, and the problems it left to me after i uninstall it.

Can you find and solve it only looking into wordpress?

Yes, i’m trying to use WPML String Translation to translate the theme. I also tryed to translate the .po file on the “lang” folder but seems not to work.
I had to uninstall WPML because all the site stops to work after i instal WPML. After install it, I’m no longer able to select the home page, blog page,  menu, etc. And in the “domains”, on string translation, only the wordpress, WPML and widgets shows as a domain that i can translate, the specular theme doesn’t show.
I can install it again for you to test, if you want.
At this moment, i translate the “Read More”, “Search”, etc on the php file where they are.

The 1st, 3rd and 4th issue apparently were solved.
Thanks for the tips to hide the comments and infos on posts.

I’m experiencing other strange thing.

I have one page defined as the page to show the latest blog posts, and in the “Blog Style” i have “normal” selected as the blog style to be used.

But, if the first post of the list of posts to be shown are a “Gallery” post with Flex Slider and the option “Active Fixed Slider” on, the page displays the slider of that post on the top of the page, before the default page header.

I have tried many things but none of them solve this.
