in reply to: Default Page Header No Longer Works in 2.9.1
Got it. Some things just work differently and need to be re-adjusted in the newest version of the theme. I think I’m good now.
Thanks for your support!
in reply to: Default Page Header No Longer Works in 2.9.1It is working, but your work on this theme continues to be sub-par. The breadcrumbs have additional brackets at the end, which appears to be just a coding mistake in your theme. Plus, the page title font size is different than before. Your theme update has been a major inconvenience for this business, and my future review will reflect this if we cannot get things operating correctly.
in reply to: Default Page Header No Longer Works in 2.9.1Yes, those same credentials will still work for you to check out this issue.
Yes indeed.
Yes, but I created a new support topic for that. See the topic “Default Page Header No Longer Works in 2.9.1”.
Thank you for getting the theme updated. The site was still totally inoperable on mobile devices and on desktops, the dropdown menus still weren’t working at all. I figured out that it was a plugin called “Remove Query Strings” that was causing this problem. That plugin was once used to improve GTmetrix performance scores, which it did help with, but obviously it has major conflicts with your theme.
Can you tell me why the normal routine for updating the theme failed the way it did, and can you assure me that future theme updates won’t suffer this same problem?

dotcominfo. Reason: Wanted to ask how it was fixed!

By toggling between the main theme and the child theme, that somehow resolved the Fatal Errors in the admin area when inserting rows or text, but there are numerous areas on the front end that just don’t work. For example, none of the news layouts for blogs work at all. Those pages are all plagued with Warning: array_merge() errors.
It’s not a good sign at all that a theme doesn’t even work right with it’s own demo data.
I will leave this site accessible to you so you can login and tinker all you need, because I want to help you figure out what’s wrong with your theme. But… you only reply to support once in every 24 hour period and I just don’t have any more time to waste for the excellent (but slow) support.
I will be setting up another wordpress install to restart this project on one of several other WooCommerce friendly themes that “just work.” So, I’m abandoning this project that I gave you access to but leaving it online so you can login and see the problems.
in reply to: Demo import just does not workI tried sharing an image from my public dropbox folder, but it didn’t work. This is the screen shot I was trying to share.

Did you just see that in the Appearance > Themes section or somewhere else? The theme info on the Envato Market plugin didn’t show any updates were pending, nor did it show up under Dashboard > Updates.

Implementing your revision for the quotes format did the trick. Thank you so much for the excellent support!
