Tower Theme Fatal Error when updating to Version 2.9.1

  Recently, I ran a theme update a couple of times, and ran into a fatal error both times, requiring a restore from backup.
  
  Similar to what others have reported this week, here’s the error:

  Thank you for getting the theme updated. The site was still totally inoperable on mobile devices and on desktops, the dropdown menus still weren’t working at all. I figured out that it was a plugin called “Remove Query Strings” that was causing this problem. That plugin was once used to improve GTmetrix performance scores, which it did help with, but obviously it has major conflicts with your theme.
  
  Can you tell me why the normal routine for updating the theme failed the way it did, and can you assure me that future theme updates won’t suffer this same problem?

  Some time internet issue and some data migration cauases the problem.
