Mihaila,
Thanks that is wonderful. It seems to be working now, though the circle behind the icons has stayed the same size. Is there a way to make them grow at the same rate? Or a different command line to adjust the circles themselves? I know I’m asking something that verges on design, but I’d be more grateful to be pointed in the right direction.
in reply to: Page header background image on Chrome/SafariHere’s a few more demonstration images. Look at the inconsistency on how readable to the text is.
Firefox Screen Shot – Hooray! I can read the title
Safari on Mac Screen shot – Oh No! No Overlay, Can’t read this at all. Bad impression for visitors
Off the top of my head, is there way to turn off the overlay all together? I could add a white overlay to these images in photoshop or something, but if I did that now Firefox would wash it out even more.
in reply to: Page header background image on Chrome/SafariHi Team,
So we’ve been struggling with this the entire time we’ve had this theme installed. On Chrome and Safari the white overlay does not appear in front of our top images.

This was taken again after the theme update, after the code you just added, after my cache was cleared. (as in after your last reply) To clarify one more time, this does NOT happen on firefox. It works 100% correct on firefox. It works 0% correct on chrome and safari. I know you have said that you have seen it work correctly on your end but that doesn’t help me or all the people I’ve had go to the site that see it incorrectly and can not read our titles.
I did just check out the display on safari for mobile. I see a white overlay now, though it appears to be in front of the text, not behind it, so it washes it out and it still is illegible.
I have tried disabling some plug-ins as well but most of them come with the theme and I don’t know what they do.
I’m dying for this to work properly as this has been the focus of many hours of work here and we can’t launch the website with this taking place.
I appreciate your time and diligence in this matter but I’m quite helpless. Is there a consistent way I can work around this? I’m open to your ideas if you can’t find a fix.
Thanks
in reply to: Social Media Buttons Larger?Hi.
I upgraded the theme and tried to add back in that code to the custom css box. I change the font size to try to make the social media icons larger but to no avail. Am I misunderstand how to change the size?
in reply to: Portfolio Project Details?Scratch that Kris. I understand that it’s a header now for that section.
in reply to: Portfolio Project Details?Hi Kris,
I watched your video and I see how to add new ones, the only issue is one seems to exist that I didn’t add and I can’t seem to add anything to it. https://69.195.124.102/~leekpipe/codeless_portfolio/hillgreen-lane/
Take a look at the right, you’ll see “Project Details” even though I never added that field. In the custom field box I see a 1. but nowhere to edit it. Do I need to do something to get that? Or is that something that was built in that I need to delete?
in reply to: Social Media Buttons Larger? Also, Kris, I added in some FTP information to my profile. I see a place for FTP username but there is no way for me to edit that field, so I just stuck it as an @symbol in front of the link.
in reply to: Social Media Buttons Larger?Hi Kris,
Before I do this, that exact line was not in the style.css file at all. There are a number of variations. your instructions said to find it and then edit it, but am I supposed to be adding it in? If so, will it matter where I place it?
Thanks.

I was shocked to see that you have an excerpt for text but no way build in to see the full text. I would love to see better formatting options for single staff pages and built in ways to link to them.
in reply to: Page header background image on Chrome/SafariThanks Kris/team. I appreciate you looking into this.
