in reply to: Change Page Permalinks Without Getting a 404 Page
Thank you for fully resolving the issue.
For the future, I’d like to understand where I went wrong.
The reason I used the custom link is because I wanted my page to look similar enough to the page from the theme sample; I just changed it to fit my needs.
What can I do to prevent this problem from happening again and make changing the permalinks a hassle-free process?
Thank you,
OK Designsin reply to: Change Page Permalinks Without Getting a 404 PageHi,
I see that it worked when you tried it.
However, when I change the Portfolio page URL from “sample-page-3” to “portfolio” and refresh the page, I still get a 404 page.
Any advice?
Thank you,

in reply to: Change Page Permalinks Without Getting a 404 PageHi,
Yes, that was the first thing I tried. After I manually changed the URL and refreshed the page, I got a 404 page. I then had to change it back to the original URL to see my pages. I would like to customize the URL and not have it say “contact-us-2” or “sample-page-3”.
Thank you,

in reply to: Change Page Permalinks Without Getting a 404 PageI tried that and it didn’t seem to work.
The issue that I want to resolve is as follows:
https://www.okdesigns.co/contact-us-2/— I want it to say “contact”, not “contact-us-2”
https://www.okdesigns.co/sample-page-3/— I want it to say “portfolio”, not “sample-page-3”
Thank you,

It’s such a relief to have the theme running again.
I appreciate all of your support throughout this ordeal.
Just to clarify: The Visual Composer is already activated, right?

in reply to: Tower causes site to crash when changing serversI decided to try the following:
I delete the Tower theme from the remote server of okdesigns.co.
Then I went into the back-end of <span style=”color: #1155cc;”>okdesigns.co</span> and uploaded the zipped Tower folder to try and re-install it from the beginning.
<div>As soon as I clicked “Install Now”, the site seemd to crash. I clicked the “back” arrow and it returned to normal.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Right now, there is no Tower theme on my remote server.</div>

<div>I would like to resolve this issue asap before my old domain expires (1/1/2017)</div>

This thread is regarding okdesigns.co which is working fine with a default WordPress theme.
Were you looking at okastor.com/okdesigns? That site does have an Internal Server Error. This site is expiring in a few days and I would like to have the okdesigns.co site up and running with the correct theme before that.
Thank you,
OKDesignsin reply to: Tower causes site to crash when changing serversI did try everything in the article.
I also tried upping my php max limit.
Are there any other suggestions you can give me to enable my site to fully transfer and work?
Regarding the phase of the site transfer: It seems that I should have finished transferring already since all uploads, themes, content etc. is already transferred. The theme isn’t activating now and that is where I’m having trouble.
Thank you for all your help until now!

in reply to: Portfolio "Project Details" Box MissingThank you for fixing that for me.
Although I see the custom fields you created under “Portfolio Items”, I still don’t see the custom fields option under General Options > Portfolio Config > Custom Fields Parameters.
I still just see “Portfolio Slug” and “Active Portfolio Like”. I would like to create additional fields-is it possible to solve this problem?
Thank you,
OK Designs
in reply to: Portfolio "Project Details" Box MissingI don’t see a field in the Single Portfolio Options that may show the Portfolio Details information. The current fields are “WordPress”, the date, and “Codeless”, none of which show up on the front-end screen anyways.
Also, I also don’t see a place in the Portfolio Config to create a new field. I just see “Portfolio Slug” and “Active Portfolio Like”
