Do you need to change all website bg color? Then go to Theme Options -> Styling.
Do you need to change single page bg color? Then go to Pages -> Select Page -> on the bottom change page bg color option
Do you need to change a single section bg color? Edit with WPBakery and select the section you need to edit. Change BG color
On includes/codeless_hooks.php please comment this line:

After saving, please do a refresh of permalinks. You can do that by changing Settings -> Permalink to a new structure and then come back to the needed one.
