To check if the update was successful, go to Appearance > Themes, check the version of current theme. If the version is of the latest update, then you have successfully updated theme.
I can’t figure out what is wrong with just a screenshot. Can’t you send a link of the site? We have tested theme many times already and there is no problem with the update.

I can suggest you to edit the image first. Reduce the space around the logo so when resized for mobile, the logo will get bigger than it is now with all that much space around it.
We are sorry you had any troubles with updating. Please always make sure to check the plugins after a theme update. You will see a message in your dashboard that either requires you to update included plugins (if they have an updated version) or to activate them. Some plugins get inactive during the update process.
The portfolio item’s content is all created using Codeless Builder. Just open the portfolio item in Customizer and edit out the elements. Can i see a link of your site? I fail to find the “Similar works” you mention, on my side.
In the screenshot i see that there is an image, which’s url may not be correct (see here: https://imgur.com/a/j6yyGBI). So when you hover over the title, the image’s alt text shows up. Please add some featured images to your blog posts or just remove the existing. Then this will not happen.
All the content elements are created using Codeless Builder. To change these images, please open portfolio item from the customizer. Edit the images by hovering over them and change background image. As seen in this screenshot: https://ibb.co/nrsMMCV
As my colleague mentioned in the last reply: It is not possible to add content to the categories but you can create a new page add the shop element there and select the category. After that you can add the text element or any other element you want.
The header style (light/dark) is defined in two places. In page’s options(screenshot) and the slider’s slide options(screenshot). All you need to do in this case is make sure the slide’s header option is set up the same as the one in your home page.
2-The element options of WP Bakery are not controlled from us, but the plugin authors. There is no option to remove the title. You can do so using custom css.
You can use WP Bakery if you feel more comfortable or like it more. Just is not possible to use two builder’s in the same page. So if you create a page and add Visual Composer element in it. Keep using WP Bakery on that page. The same with Codeless Builder, if you add a new page and use CB elements in it, then you can not add Visual Composer element in it.
