The three bars menu you have now at the far right side of menu is in fact an extra side-bar menu. You can add content to it as widgets, in Appearance > Widgets.
To remove it, go to Specular > Layout > Extra Side Navigation, set it OFF.
To add mobile navigation, go to Specular > Header Options > General > Show Responsive Menu Dropdown, set it ON.
All theme demos are created using Codeless Builder. It is theme’s main builder. So the photography light demo you have is also created with Codeless Builder shortcodes. I created a new home page with the portfolio and the categories bar is showing just like the demo: https://www.studiomm.photo/home-2/
Pagination is working well too.

You have the “Filter product by Attribute” widget. But that’s not in a ruler form. If you want that specific form, i suggest you look up for an external plugin.
Yes, Layerslider is included in theme package. By the time of the latest theme release, the latest version of the slider was vs 6.7.6. So this is the version present in theme’s latest version as well.
You can find the zip file, in \specular\plugins folder.
Please know that all bundled plugins have extended licenses. Which means you will have to wait for a theme update in order to get the next plugin’s update. Or if you can not wait, you can update on your own by buying a personal license of the plugin.
I can’t really tell what happened with the old theme installation. I need to check the wp-content/plugins folder via ftp first. The ftp credentials in your profile are not valid anymore.
I see you have many third party plugins installed. Please deactivate them all before you make a theme update (especially when the update has major changes like this one), so the external code won’t conflict with it.
Do you have any third party plugins installed? What php version is running? We recommend to use one builder at a time (only Codeless Builder, or only Visual Composer), however these are both tested builders and have no issues.
