Sorry for the late reply.
Thank you for reporting this. But on our side this does not happen. What version of the theme do you have? What about Visual Composer version? You may have issues with access rights or your host doesn’t allow you to make changes. Please check this up with your host provider.

I opened your site and i see all the pages. Normally updating theme and visual composer does not affect your site at all. Unless you have made changes to theme files directly, they will be overwritten, but the settings (such pages created, posts, configurations) are not affected as they are stored in the database.

1- Please go to file functions.php and find this line:
add_image_size( 'port2', 700, 420, true );edit the values of the portfolio to your need. Then reupload images. Also install and run a plugin to recreate thumbnails.

4-The effect with on hover layer and title and description is a portfolio item feature. You are in a single portfolio item, and are using a gallery.

The setting to show comment count in blog, at General > Blog, was not ON. I set it on. The portfolio filters only the items of the category you selected, that are present in that page. Not in all pages.
The only way to change that is to remove pagination.Best regards!
