Please make sure you have all necessary rights to make changes in your site. Also make sure to have enough execution time and memory limit. Consult your host about it. If you send me your wp credentials in a private reply, i can give it a closer look.

2- As i mentioned above, the last theme update has the menu position fixed. Either use the custom css, or update theme. It’s up to you.
(ps: using css is a permanent solution as that’s what is used to edit layout. If you take the update, it will just mean that we edited it in the css main file and it does not need to be done by yourself)
3-Please make sure you have configured it properly.
4-In the test page, i have also set up the Recent portfolio to show full width. Please see there all configurations. As per the category, you have installed many other add-ons and third party plugins that may affect the elements behavior. In our side the ‘Recent Portfolio’ element does show the option to choose only a specific category to show. Check your newest installations and investigate the cause that made it disappear.
Sorry but that is the default style of the theme.If you want to change it, you can do it yourself. This customization is not included in support service.
I can’t check your site. It doesn’t open. Please make sure to have aplied all changes you may have made to theme files (not the custom css box code) in the newest files, when you make an update.
