What about a SQL query? This would make it really unlikely for someone who already has a few hundred posts to switch over to this theme.

Thanks! How do I quickly change the style of all my blog posts? I started using this theme after I already have about 50 posts. It’s annoying to go through one-by-one on the “Posts” tab of the Customize page.

    Support Self-Hosting scripts

I live in China and it’s not possible for me to use the website builder without VPN due to it loading scripts from blocked sites (like Google fonts). This link to the Google Fonts will also cause my site’s experience to be very poor for users browsing from China.

in reply to: Full Page Height

There are a few issues :)

1 – The first row on the page is still un-clickable. As mentioned, when hovering over the area to reveal the “Row” button, it appears. Once you move the cursor upward to click on the button, it hides before you can click it. This makes it impossible to modify anything on the first row. The workaround is to create a row above it, modify your desired row, and then manually delete the first row in the text editor (because you can’t modify the first row in the Live Editor). I have checked in both Chrome and Firefox.

2 – “Full Page Height” is not clear. It clearly does not include the header, because 1 sticky header + 1 full page height row = 1 full screen with no scroll bar. So it seems what you mean by “Full Page Height” in row is “Except for sticky header”. Do you also have an option for “Except for footer row”?

3 – You mentioned there is no way to make copyright sticky, but when I enabled Footer > General > Footer Reveal Effect it seemed to make the Header + 1 Full Height Row + Footer (with copyright only) fit nicely into a single page. This is exactly what I’m looking for, but is it a bug since you mentioned this isn’t possible?

Thank you for your quick replies!

So I just found the “Full Height Row” option, but there is one issue and one question.

The issue is that the “Row” button is not clickable when the row is immediately below the header. When I get close to it, it pops up, but when I try to click it then it disappears. I had to add a row above my row so I could use the menu to make changes and then delete the new row in the WordPress markup editor. Is this a bug?

The new question is – it seems the “Full Page Height” is a 100% height element, instead of dynamically filling the page. I have a copyright footer at the bottom that I would like to be sticky, but I don’t see an option for that either. So – how does one accomplish a fixed header and footer with a full-height content row?

in reply to: Updating via ZIP file is painful

I was under the impression that a theme could be designed to allow itself to be updated by re-uploading the ZIP file. I now see that this is an unfortunate design-miss for WordPress in general. Thanks for the fast response!
