I fixed it!
Apparently the combo of the Jetpack and Yoast SEO plugin is necessary to allow the editing of the content blocks.
It is weird that the 2 plugins a needed to work.
Maybe it helps you and/or others when you get the same question :)

I indeed was wondering if a plugin caused the issue.
Still a mystery though why my other website still works with Jetpack (same version).
Maybe a combination with some plugins but that’s something you don’t need to worry about.

I tested it and it works with the WP Bakery Page Builder but i prefer the Codeless Builder because of the visual editing.
I noticed that i can add new blocks and edit them within the Codeless Builder but i can’t edit the existing content.
I don’t know if this information is relevant to the problem, if not just ignore it :)
Is it possible that the Codeless Builder won’t be relevant anymore within the template?
