Hi,

My website http://www.eliminatetherisks.co.uk has now crashed because of the One.com php update to v8.0 from v7.4. As I write this the site is down but I have just changed the php version back to v7.4 as One.com have allowed this temporarily but not for long.

Do you have any news on how I can resolve this by upgrading WP Bakery from v6.0.3 to v6.9.0. From an earlier support ticket this is the fix.

OK. Will do. I’ve bought 7 Specular licences so there is a good chance I will need it. I’ll be in touch if I do.

I did wonder about that but there were no updates mentioned on my site for WP Bakery so I thought it was up to date.

That’s excellent. Many thanks. All looks good. May I ask what the fix was? I have Specular in use on other websites also hosted with One.com and might have the same problem. The PHP upgrade to v8.0 will apply to all my websites.

OK. Website is back up again but with display issues of course. I’m guessing we need to update WP Bakery Page Builder?

Website is now down again and I can’t back in. I’ll disable the WP Bakery plugin via SFTP.

Yes, I’ve just reverted back to v7.4 about 20 minutes ago but the website still crashes when I reactivate WP Bakery Page Builder.

One.com say that I can only use v7.4 until 28th November. After that date, my website will revert permanently to v8.0.

Update:

I deactivated WP Bakery Page Builder and my site is now working again but parts of it do not look right because the page builder needs to be running I guess.
