Hello,

There is a class called NavWalker in WordPress, it is used to manipulate the html output of the navigation menus in WordPress.

The theme owner might tell you the file to edit to remove this manipulation. This is the only way it can be done. It is not related to any js code.

Since this function is used in many different ways, it will be difficult for you or me to find how it is done in the theme.
