1). There is no .htaccess file on your Windows hosting plan. It is a file only for Linux servers. Your developer is rebuilding your site it WordPress and can do so on a Windows server, but it is trickier and she would use the ‘web.config’ file instead.
2). You’re pay $14 per month for your current hosting. We can have your dev build the new WordPress site on Linux hosting with CPanel as low as $2.49 per month if you do a 36 month term. (About $90 for 3 years). This plan would have the latest versions of php and software for your developer to use with the WordPress. (And have the .htaccess file).

in reply to: 500 internal errorHi, I updated the profile as requested. I activated each plugin, but not the 2 that I am having an issue with. I am not able to find a .htaccess file anywhere even when I used Filezilla. I am not very knowledgeable on websites this is only a side thing for me at the moment so skills are limited on my end. I am using a subdomain to stage this website. tknewsite.topkingclothing.com is what I creating it under now.
