I’m still having this issue with our website. I’ve already updated to the newest version of Specular and installed the newest version of Visual Composer hoping it would fix the issue, but it has not. I did narrow it down to being an issue with having the row set to “Full Width Content”. If I have it set to “Container” the accordions behave as they should (expanding the div’s height on open). In “Full Width Content” mode it breaks and the height stays fixed, causing the accordion content to flow outside the row. I’m still not sure why this happens or why the code is setting a fixed height. Setting the row to “Container” or “Full Width Background” isn’t an option due to the design layout. The oddest part to me is that if you resize the window even a bit then the height auto-corrects…something is just buggy but I can’t figure out what is causing it. I don’t want to assign a height to the row because that just causes awkward spaces for shorter content…some of the accordion content is much longer than others. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!
In the Accordion feature, when I go to attach the icon to the tab through Visual Composer I use the search feature and search for “map” but the map just doesn’t show up. I’ve scrolled through all the FontAwesome icons shown, but it isn’t in there. The one I’m looking for is <span style=”color: #393d40; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px;”>“fa-map-o”.</span>
I am also having issues with Font Awesome icons missing. If you look in the Font Awesome library on the Github cheatsheet page you can see a folded map icon “fa-map-o”. However, in the accordion feature within Visual Composer when I go to add that icon it does not show up. I tried searching for “map”, as well as looking through the available icons several times. The interesting part is that if I inspect the page within my Chrome browser and change the class on that icon to fa-map-o it shows up…so it is in the library. It just won’t show up in Visual Composer. I’m not sure how to get this to work. Also, FontAwesome has added some new icons to their library. Is there a way for me to update this so I can use them through Visual Composer?
I ended up changing the code just a bit. This will help for now, but my main concern is since it’s a responsive site giving the divs a fixed height creates a lot of open space when you switch from content that is really long to much shorter content. Ideally, I would like it to resize to however long the content is…just not sure what is keeping it from doing so. I seems to work fine on mobile, but not desktop.
I was wondering something similar. I like the way the main light and dark logos are currently, however, when the sticky header kicks in I would like to use a different logo all together (not the light and dark ones put in General Options). I’m just not sure how to do this or which file I would need to edit to make this happen.
If you take a look at the accordion on this page on desktop it works fine, as well as on tablets. However, if you view this page on an iPhone (I have a 5S) when you touch the + symbol to expand nothing happens. I have noticed if you expand the menu at the top and close it again, then when you scroll down the accordion panel is open…so it seems like there could be some sort of javascript issue going on.
