in reply to: Disable Google Fonts on Specular
Hello,
Yes, I had my alternative fonts uploaded into my wordpress installation. I managed to disable google fonts on my own and now everything is working smoothly and my page makes less http requests, which works wonders for my page’s load speed.
In case anyone else is wondering how to disable google fonts, they come from the redux plugin. I used this:

Turns out the text domain name was set as ‘codeless’ on the style.css sheet but ‘specular’ was used on each individual string. I thought I might have been the one to change ‘codeless’ to ‘specular’ in some string I had tried to translate before but ‘specular’ is also used on strings I’ve never even thought about.

I can confirm we’re working with the latest version of both the theme and wordpress. What plugins could be interfering with the overall layout? I can only think of Visual Composer, but the theme description said it is compatible so I’m at a loss here.
We were planning to release the blog later this week. Could we keep this ticket open until then?
Thank you very much, and have a nice week yourself :)
