You can import sliders as well. Inside your downloaded package there will be sliders folder as well which contains demo sliders. You can use sliders from there. Also you can install our slider templates plugin to import more sliders. Let me know if anything else needed ?
Well, If you want to change images in the development you can simply edit that photo in WordPress and replace with your desired one. You don’t need any PSD file for that. You got our theme which gives you access to files which you can play with. Through the WordPress media you can upload you own images and where you needed you can select image accordingly.

Kindly make sure all required plugins are activated properly. Then go to starter sites and there will be all demos listed. Starter sites will be the top 2nd or 3rd menu in your WordPress admin panel.
Well, I have checked the issue and it is not saving settings for header. I will be working on my local end and once done will be updating code for you.
Oh, it is a recommended part to always keep your backup before updating any of your theme or plugin. Because if anything goes wrong you can revert back.
