My friend I just imported demo data as you were saying it does not import, now you can import slider demos as well and once imported you can simply chose your desired slider template.

Widgets are showing as well, you can use your own desired widgets as well, just go to appearance > widgets and add your own desired widgets.

That layout is showing just fine, because the item which are going to right side are nested items, so their parent child relation makes them that way it is normal thing not a bug.

Make sure there is no restrictions like IP or some thing else ?
