You can Migrate your website from 7.4 to 8 with help of some professional WordPress Developer and before upgrading please note the followings:
1. Take the Backup of Current Website Complete and Put this backup to safe location.
2. My Recommendation Use another Server (Web hosting) to Copy your Current Website to there and Start Upgrading Process there so your Live website doesnt goes down and you can do same thing if you have some sub-domain.
