As I mentioned, the permalinks settings vary from server to server. Regardless, if you encountered the same issue in the future we’re 24/365 available for your assistance. Thanks,
Hi,
As I mentioned before, this issue is usually about the “.htaccess” file. The “.htaccess” file, handle all your site permalinks but its settings vary from server to server depending on the server settings.About the article, It doesn’t mean that the site always displays the 404 error but it can cause/display any type of issue like on your site it prevented the Elementor plugin to edit your pages.
In the future, If you encountered the same issue that even changing your permalinks does not help you, then you just’ve to add/modify the “.htaccess” file(as in the article). If the issue still persists then it might be your server configuration issue. Contact your website hosting provider and ask them to enable the “SERVER_SOFTWARE” variable. Also, make sure your server has the “mod_rewrite” module enabled.
Thanks,

Can you please just share the backup files of your site so that I can test them on the localhost? Then we’ll not get in trouble of restoring the backup if unfortunately, something goes wrong again. Thanks,

It was nothing but a small CSS bug that is fixed now. You don’t need to worry about that.
